Abstract
Dispositivo para medir o permitir descubrir el grado de inclinación, en un plano vertical, del eje de un objeto tubular, a partir de.un punto de observación que puede estar situado en este mismo plano, comprendiendo este dispositivo un sistema de vasos comunicantes, solidario del objeto tubular, y que contiene un líquido, caracterizado por el hecho de que dicho sistema está compuesto por un primer compartimiento tubular, en el que al menos una parte de la pared es transparente o translúcida, a fin de permitir la observación del nivel del líquido, por una cámara anular, dispuesta perpendicularmente al eje del objeto tubular y por un segundo compartimiento tubular, paralelo y diametralmente opuesto al primero, estando situados los ejes de los dos compartimientos tubulares en el plano vertical de inclinación del eje del objeto, desembocando los extremos superiores de estos compartimientos en la cámara anular, y comunicando sus extremos inferiores entre si por un conducto de enlace, siendo de tal cuantía la cantidad del líquido en el sistema de vasos comunicantes, que su nivel se encuentre próximo. al extremo superior del primer compartimiento, para la inclinación mínima del eje del objeto respecto a la vertical, y siendo la relación de la sección de la caminara anular con la del primer compartimiento, suficientemente grande para que la variación del nivel en esta cámara cuando el eje del objeto sufra una inclinación, sea prácticamente despreciable respecto a la variación del nivel en el primer compartimiento.
