Abstract

A slide fastener slider (20) has a pull tab support (22) pivotably connected at one end to a slider body (21), and a pull tab (23) having a neck pivotably received in an aperture in the pull tab support. The pull tab support has a channel communicating with the aperture. The neck portion is normally retained in the aperture by a resilient pull tab retainer (35) that is normally urged to close off the channel. When the pull tab retainer (35) is manually displaced out of the channel, the neck portion can be pulled through the channel to detach the pull tab (23) off the pull tab support (22).
