Abstract

This bundling strap comprises an integral flexible strip (10), equipped on the surface with transverse locking notches, and a closure head (11), having a passage (16) suitable for the engagement, in a closed loop, of the flexible strip (10) and equipped with a retention catch (23) suitable for interacting with the transverse locking notches of the latter. According to the invention, upstream of the retention catch (23), in the direction of engagement of the flexible strip (10), the closure head (11) comprises, projecting, on the same side as the said retention catch (23), at least one spacing projection (32) suitable for temporarily stressing the flexible strip in the opposite direction from the said retention catch (23) during the said engagement of the strip. Application particularly to bundling straps produced by moulding of a synthetic material.
