Sistema (1) para proporcionar bienes de consumo, en particular alimentos, que comprende: una estación (11) de preparación para la expedición central, que es una instalación de logística en su mayor parte automatizada, que a partir de unidades de artículos individuales conforma cestas de la compra para consumidores finales; al menos un recipiente (13) de transferencia que circula en el sistema para el alojamiento de los artículos preparados para la expedición y para el transporte al consumidor final; y al menos una estación (14) de recogida descentralizada para el almacenamiento de recipientes (13) de transferencia y para la entrega de un determinado recipiente (13b) de transferencia a un receptor identificado correspondientemente; comprendiendo el recipiente (13) de transferencia una unidad (130, 1301, 1302) de refrigeración para refrigerar o para mantener refrigerados artículos, que están alojados en el recipiente (13) de transferencia, caracterizado porque el pedido de artículos tiene lugar por Internet y siendo la estación (14) de recogida móvil y presentando la estación (14) de recogida un almacén (114) con estanterías para cestas de la compra con un transelevador, y presentando el recipiente (13) de transferencia diferentes zonas, que son adecuadas para cadenas de frío de diferentes niveles de temperatura.
