Abstract

1. Una variedad nueva y distinta de planta de fresa del tipo de día corto, caracterizada principalmente como la planta fructífera más temprana de todas las variedades de día corto de California, y por su fruto, que es de forma cónica media a corta, ligeramente hueco interiormente, con una firmeza y durabilidad aproximadamente iguales a las de las variedades "Tufts", "Tioga" y "Aiko", y siendo el tamaño de dicho fruto aproximadamente el mismo que "Tioga", con un sabor comparable al de la mayoría de la variedades de California en uso, haciendo el fruto de dicha variedad apropiado tanto para comercialización en fresco como para tratamiento. 2.
