Abstract

In order to achieve an escape-proof suspension of the overhead transmission of model railways, a safety rod is provided between the tie bar and the stay bar of a lattice mast, movably mounted on the stay bar, the two bars forming an eye at their point of junction. The overhead transmission can be inserted into the eye by means of a mandrel-like end piece of its tension cable. The stay rod has an offset at its free end which serves both to mount a correspondingly shaped end of the contact wire and to receive the free end of the safety bar, which is designed as a hook.
