Abstract

Junta de estanqueidad, que estando destinada a situarse entre un empalme para tubería de fluido a alta presión y un aparato que presenta un orificio aterrajado en el cual se rosca la parte roscada del empalme, caracterizada porque comprende un zuncho de material duro y resistente apoyado por una de sus dos superficies contra el borde superior de la pared del aparato y que presenta un orificio dentro del cual se acoplan alrededor del empalme un órgano de estanqueidad de material fluible y maleable y un anillo de engastar de material dúctil que presenta en sección la forma de una cuña, estando el mencionado anillo engastado en el interior del zuncho durante el roscado del empalme con el fin de constituir un recinto anular estanco de volumen variable en el cual se encuentra comprimido el órgano de estanqueidad que llena por fluidez el mencionado espacio anular durante la operación de roscado del empalme, estando el mencionado recinto anular delimitado por el empalme el anillo engastado, el zuncho y la superficie del aparato, cuyos puntos de contacto constituyen unos medios anti-extrusión del órgano de estanqueidad, solidarizándose el mencionado zuncho y dicho anillo a engastar por unos medios previstos en la junta de estanqueidad.
