Abstract

Apparatus for the mounting of an adhesive strip (14) on the seam running round between body and lid of a cardboard tub (2) with a lower turntable (6) forming the support of the upright tub (2) and with an upper turntable (6) for pressing the lid onto the body, wherein at least one of the corresponding turntables is displaceable coaxially and axially downwards and wherein the turntables (6) are borne on a revolver (10) to be rotatable about their own axis (7) as well as also to be movable in planetary manner on a circular path (8) with the aid of the revolver (10), as well as with a fixed automatic adhering and cutting device (11) arranged at the circulation of the revolver (10) at the level of the seam location between upper and lower turntable, characterised thereby, that the automatic adhering and cutting device (11) displays a carriage (12), which is drivable in radial direction with respect to the circular path (8), with rollers (13) for making the beginning of the strip adhere to the tub (2) respectively moved past on the circular path (8) and that the revolver is equipped with a rail (17), spatially fixed at the circumference of the revolver (10) and U-shaped in particular, and with rollers (18), which are moved together with the revolver (10), engage into the rail (17) and which are resiliently borne in particular, for the guidance of the not yet completely adhered adhesive strip (14).
