Abstract

Un dispositivo antideslumbrante para una pantalla de transmisión destinada a reducir el deslumbramiento sin proyectar imágenes fantasmas que dan lugar a objeción cuando se separa una distancia apropiada de la pantalla de transmisión, caracterizado por la combinación de una lámina de material transparente (12) que posee una superficie esterior sustancialmente plana (20) y una superficie frontal (18) incluyendo dicha superficie frontal una pluralidad de estrías paralelas sustancialmente en forma de V (22), terminando cada una de dichas estrías en una cresta (24) cooperando con la otra de dichas estrías para dar a la superficie frontal un perfil generalmente de diente pieza destinado a reflejar luz ambiente lejos de una visión enfrente de dicha lámina de material transparente (12), y medios de inhibición (14) unidos a dicha superficie posterior de dicha lámina de material transparente para inhibir el paso de la luz ambiente que pasa a través de dicha lámina de material transparente desde la superficie frontal (18) respectiva a dicha superficie posterior (20) correspondiente y para inhibir el paso de la luz ambiental que, después de atravesar dichos medios inhibidores, se refleja subsiguientemente desde la pantalla de transmisión de nuevo hacia dicha lámina de material transparente, de tal manera que la luz ambiente que ha sido refractada a medida que pasa a través de dicho dispositivo antideslumbrante y después reflejada de nuevo hacia dicho dispositivo antideslumbrante se impide que pase de nuevo a través de dicho dispositivo antideslumbrante para prevenir por ende que la luz ambiente reflejada desde una pantalla de transmisión cree deslumbramiento frontal.
