The generic document discloses an underwear, the base surface of which is composed of a mesh product that prevents the penetration of shrapnel of UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) and another textile material different from it. The different textile materials or the different zones, of which the underwear is composed, are sewn together. This invention was based on the consideration that not all underwear should be configured from a unitary mesh product that prevents shrapnel penetration, but essentially only those areas that require special protection. Therefore, within the framework of this invention, it is assumed that it is sufficient to use the UHMWPE mesh product in a first area of the base surface that requires special protection. Furthermore, unlike the state of the art, as it is known from document US 6,961,958 B1, the invention was based on the consideration of dispensing with producing the underwear in the first place completely of a material not ballistically equipped and, to then provide pockets for receiving ballistic protective packages. In contrast to this, the generic document discloses that underwear is composed of several different textile materials by sewing. However, it has been shown that the protective effect of an underwear that occurs according to the disclosure of the generic document, is still capable of improvement. Very generally, textile garments with ballistic protective equipment cannot be worn comfortably against the skin.

Another significant disadvantage of known textile garments with ballistic protective equipment is that they are unsuitable for camouflage. UHMWPE is only available in black and white. Both colors are not appropriate for the camouflage of the textile garment. Aramides as an alternative to UHMWPE cannot be partially dyed and also have yellow spots, which is very unfavorable for camouflage.

Another disadvantage of aramids is that they are not UV resistant and therefore must be welded onto a black foil and inserted into clothing as bundles, which again is detrimental to camouflage. In addition, there is clothing made from aramids. This is most often worn as underwear, however it is exposed to UV radiation during washing and drying. Furthermore, the mechanical stability of aramides is impaired by washing.

The present invention aims to create a textile garment with ballistic protective equipment, which solves the disadvantages of the state of the art, offers high protection, is easy to handle and disturbs the wearer as little as possible.

The solution according to the invention also makes it possible in particular to improve both the temporary storage of sweat and also the transport of sweat, which is unsatisfactory in particular in a pure UHMWPE, by adding another thread or because at least one other thread has corresponding moisture absorption and / or transport properties.

Preferably, the other yarn or one of the other yarns is configured in such a way that it absorbs moisture from the body and therefore promotes thermoregulation of the body. This property is especially advantageous in the case of textile garments, which are worn directly on the skin and possibly also under other layers of the garment.

A knit construction is particularly suitable in regions of a garment where high elasticity is required. This is particularly true of garments that are worn directly on the body. A special advantage occurs in so-called combat shirts, in which it is provided that the torso part is worn directly on the body.

The solution according to the invention is in principle suitable in particular for combat shirts. The yarns taken directly from the textile garment are destroyed and / or stretched by the penetration of the projectile and thus distribute the energy over the surrounding yarns. The sleeve parts 18 are sewn to the torso part 17 in the exemplary embodiment. The torso part 17 has a neck 19 made high, which is configured as a girdle 11. In the exemplary embodiment, the torso part 17 and also the neck 19 have fire-retardant properties and are designed antistatic and preferably also antibacterial and hydrophilic. The torso part 17 according to the exemplary embodiment can preferably be provided to be worn directly on the body, that is to say, it is not required to wear underwear underneath. The torso part 17 fulfills the function of the underwear.

In the exemplary embodiment, in a manner not represented in more detail, provision is made for the sleeve portions 18 to be made of a simple, fire-retardant twill fabric. Furthermore, it is also provided in a manner not shown that the sleeve portions 18 have a camouflage pattern, preferably a three-color camouflage pattern. Pockets 20 are provided at the elbow of the sleeve portions 18, preferably for receiving flexible elbow protectors.

In the exemplary embodiment, the collar 19 is designed as a vertical collar, in which all opening possibilities have been dispensed with, in order to avoid pressure points, which may arise when the combat shirt 600 is preferably worn together with load-bearing and protective equipment. The combat shirt 600 replaces underwear, preferably an undershirt, and can be worn as a lower layer over the body. Furthermore, the combat shirt 600 replaces a combat jacket by the configuration with the sleeve parts 18, particularly at high temperatures.

Overall protection for the trunk is produced when the combat shirt 600 is worn together with a ballistic protection vest, thus a camouflage 8 for the torso portion 17 can also be dispensed with.
