Abstract

Freno de disco, del tipo que incorpora una horquilla deslizante que va situada por encima de una parte perimétrica del disco de un freno y que tiene, por un lado, un orificio de paso perimétrico rectangular para dos zapatas de fricción situadas en la horquilla a cada lado del disco del freno, unidas por medio de sus bocas de apoyo extremas a los cantos de guía y descansando contra las caras de apoyo y guías de la horquilla; un soporte fijo sujeto a un armazón y que sirve como apoyo para la horquilla; dos pasadores de sustentación y guía paralelos al eje del disco, sujetos al soporte fijo y guiando la horquilla por medio de cojinetes correspondientes formados en la horquilla; y un motor de control montado en la parte interna de la horquilla y que puede someter a esfuerzo a la zapata interior en la dirección de la zapata exterior que se apoya contra la cabeza de la horquilla, caracterizado porque, por medio de su extremo delantero y su extremo trasero, la horquilla se coloca, sin huelgo apreciable, entre un tope delantero y un tope trasero; porque cada uno de estos topes se extiende paralelo al eje del disco del freno por encima de este último en una longitud al menos igual a la anchura del espacio ocupado por las dos zapatas de fricción; y porque cada uno de estos topes se sujeta a un soporte fijo lateral previsto en el lado interior del disco del freno.
