Estructura multicapa de protección contra proyectiles, caracterizada porque cuando comprende sucesivamente, en el sentido de desplazamiento del proyectil, un primer conjunto (1) de capas denominadas de empotrado del proyectil, estando constituida cada capa (2) de este primer conjunto por un tejido de fibras de aramida, un segundo conjunto (3) de capas (5, 6) denominadas de difusión de la energía cinética, constituidas por otros tejidos y, al menos una capa suplementaria denominada de amortiguado (4), el segundo conjunto (3) de capas comprende capas sucesivas (5, 6) alternadas constituidas por tejido (5) de fibras de carbono y de tejido (6) de fibras de vidrio, que se han solidarizado por medio de un agente de unión (7), siendo la capa suplementaria (4) una capa de material elástico.
