Abstract

Filtro de aire de elevado poder filtrante para motores de combustión interna, caracterizado por el hecho de comprender una carcasa exterior dotada de una abertura axial superior de entrada y de una abertura radial lateral superior de salida, prolongándose desde dicha abertura axial un conducto central que desciende hasta la proximidad el fondo de la envoltura, donde se sumerge en un baño de aceite, estando encajadas en dicho conducto una masa filtrante inferior constituida por una madeja de hilos metálicos, y una masa filtrante superior constituida por una esponja de resina sintética, siendo dichas masas filtrantes tales que ocluyen completamente el espacio anular entre el conducto central y la carcasa de modo que sean obligatoriamente atravesadas pro el flujo del aire que pasa por el filtro.
