Abstract

Disposición para determinar la velocidad de sedimentación globular de la sangre, comprendiendo una pipeta graduada normalizada de volumen V1 con un extremo libre inferior y un extremo superior provisto de un dispositivo de enrase de volumen V2 apta para recibir y retener un eventual exceso de sangre introducida en la pipeta; un émbolo plástico herméticamente ajustado al exterior de la pipeta; y un tubo de altura h apto para contener la sangre a analizar, siendo el diámetro interior d del tubo de dimensión sustancialmente igual al diámetro exterior del émbolo, de modo que éste resulte apto para deslizar dentro de dicho tubo con ajuste hermético, caracterizada porque la distancia a comprendida entre el borde inferior activo del émbolo y el extremo libre de la pipeta que se introduce en el tubo, es tal que se cumple sustancialmente la siguiente relación: ** (ver fórmula) ** por lo que el espacio e, sustancialmente equivalente a h-a y recorrido por el interior del tubo hasta que el extremo inferior de la pipeta hace tope con el fondo del tubo, corresponde a un volumen de sangre desalojada el tubo capaz de llenar la pipeta sin sobrepasar el llenado del conjunto formado por dicha pipeta más el dispositivo de enrase
