Recipiente para almacenar y transportar productos contaminantes, del tipo que comprenden un cuerpo contenedor, de sección preferentemente circular, abierto por su base superior y con una tapa de cierre, caracterizado porque el cuerpo del recipiente y la tapa están obtenidos por colada, preferentemente a base de hierro fundido esferolítico o acero fundido, y porque la tapa está, al menos parcialmente, empotrada en el recipiente y presenta exteriormente un rebaje central, de cuyo fondo parten al menos dos taladros axiales pasantes, para el llenado y extracción de líquidos, cuyos taladros se cierran mediante pernos sellados con juntas tóricas; cerrándose dicho rebaje con una placa de protección que queda a ras con la superficie externa de pared del cuerpo contenedor, orificios para el paso de tornillos que se fijan en taladros roscados axiales practicados en dicha pared.
