Abstract

Dispositivo destinado a ser utilizado para instalar un generador de plasma en un horno de cuba, incluyendo dicho dispositivo un generador de plasma que tiene electrodos cilíndricos entre los cuales se crea un arco eléctrico, estando dispuestas unas bobinas de campo refrigeradas por agua alrededor de dichos electrodos, para que las bases del arco eléctrico giren y estando dispuesta una válvula de compuerta en cooperación con un orificio formado en horno de cuba para la introducción del generador de plasma, permitiendo dicha válvula el paso estanco a los gases del generador de plasma, caracterizado porque la extremidad del generador de plasma contiene el electrodo situado aguas abajo y porque la bobina de campo que hace girar la base situada aguas abajo del arco que se forma en el generador de plasma está sujeta permanentemente en la pared del horno de cuba.
