Abstract

8. Faro apantallado para vehículos.1. Shielded headlamp for vehicles, with an ellipsoid-shaped reflector, with a light source located in the first focus of the reflector, with a converging lens placed in the light beam, behind the second focus, and supported by a shaped piece ring of a frame attached to the reflector, and with a screen located in the light beam, in front of the converging lens and at its focus, in which the upper edge of the screen, which runs essentially horizontally, it forms the limit of the light and dark areas, characterized by the following peculiarities: a) because the ring-shaped part (12) of the frame (9) has a circular shape; b) because the ring (12) decreases its internal diameter, at least in a part (11) of its height, seen in the direction of the light outlet; c) because the smaller inner diameter (d) of the ring-shaped piece (12) corresponds to the outer diameter of the lens (2); d) because the ring (12) has some stops (30), distributed around its contour and that protrude radially inwards; e) because the radially projecting stops (30) serve as support points for the lens (2) placed from the small internal diameter (d); f) because between the lens (2) and the ring (12), whose diameter gradually reduces inwards, a pre-stressed spring ring (15) is placed; g) because the snap ring (15) presses against a groove formed by the lens (2) and the ring (12), without resting on the bottom of the groove, and presses the lens (2) against the support points (31). Shielded headlamp for vehicles, according to claim 1, characterized in that the ring (12) has, between the plane formed by the support points (31) and the end of the ring (10) with the smallest diameter, projections ( 33) distributed around its contour and oriented radially inwards, whose mutually facing surfaces (34) serve as centering surfaces for the outer edge of the lens (2). 3. Shielded headlight for vehicles, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that in a frame (9) manufactured by the injected casting process, there are recesses in the ring (12) above the stops (30) and the projections (33) respectively. Shielded headlamp for a vehicle according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the stops (30) and projections (33) are formed by radially bent areas cut from the ring (12) on a frame (9) made of sheet metal. into. Shielded headlamp for vehicles according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the ring (12) has, between its maximum and minimum internal diameters, the shape of a conical frustum or of a spherical sector. Shielded headlamp for vehicles according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spring ring (15) rests on the outer front edge (35) of the contour of the converging lens (2) by means of pretensioning and that the forces of the snap ring (15), which then act on the edge (35), are directed towards a common point on the optical axis. Shielded headlamp for vehicles according to claim 6, characterized in that the outer edge (35) of the contour of the converging lens (2), on which the preloaded spring ring (15) rests, has a radius or a chamfer . 8. Shielded headlamp for vehicles.
