Abstract
Un paquete de relleno de película para torres de refrigeración por agua, que comprende una serie de láminas delgadas, enterizas, en general paralelas, de material destinado a pasar sobre una película de flujo de agua a enfriar; estando cada una de dichas láminas formada según una configuración angular repetida para presentar una serie de aristas espaciadas, de serpentina, en zigzag, sobre las caras opuestas de la lámina, que definen las respectivas ranuras en zig-zag configuradas de modo complementario entre cada par adyacente de aristas; definiendo las aristas de una cara de cada lámina las ranuras de su cara opuesta y viceversa; estando cada una de dichas aristas constituida por una serie de secciones triangulares de extremo a extremo, que miran alternativamente en direcciones opuestas y que tienen los correspondientes segmentos de patilla divergente que presentan entre ellos el respectivo ángulo agudo interior; siendo las aristas y con ello las ranuras entre ellas de configuración en general triangular transversalmente respecto a aquéllas; siendo la distancia desde las porciones más exteriores de una cara de cada lámina formada hasta las porciones más exteriores de la cara opuesta de la respectiva lámina (dimensión de exterior a exterior) del orden de 4, 6 a 7, 6 mm aproximadamente; siendo el levantamiento de la configuración en zig-zag, es decir, la distancia desde la zona de unión de dos segmentos de patilla de arista que miran en una dirección hasta la siguiente zona adyacente de unión de dos segmentos de arista de la misma arista y que miran en la misma dirección, del orden de 25, 4 a 50, 8 mm aproximadamente; siendo el ángulo agudo interior definido por los segmentos de patilla divergentes de cada sección de arista triangular de cada arista en zig-zag del orden de 50º a 70º aproximadamente; siendo el ángulo abarcado entre las superficies de cada arista con ello, de cada ranura transversalmente de aquélla, del orden de 60º a 90º aproximadamente, y siendo el espacio decentro a centro entre láminas adyacentes del orden de 12, 7 a 25, 4 mm aproximadamente.
