Abstract

A tamper-proof cap made from plastic material for a container comprising an upper front wall (1), a lateral skirt (2) connected to the edge of the front wall (1), means for attaching to the neck of the container provided at the lower end of the skirt (2) and projecting inside the latter and consisting of snap-fitting studs (3). The cap comprises, on the lateral skirt (2), a destructible zone (11) of elongated shape, extending upwards from the lower edge of the skirt, substantially halfway between two snap-fitting studs (3), delimited by vertical weakening grooves (12) and by a transverse gripping slot (13) provided in the upper part of the destructible zone (11).
