Abstract

A bracket adapted to be secured at one end to a pole and having means at the other end for carrying a luminaire is provided with an opening intermediate its ends covered by a light transmitting dome 55 beneath which is adjustably mounted a photo-electric control device (see Division G1). The control device includes a transparent cylindrical housing 14 rotatably mounted on a base member 41 so that the amount of light incident on the photoelectric cell 15 may be adjusted. The device is secured in its adjusted position by a flexible strap comprising two strips 46, 48 of spring steel joined by a toggle link 47, and the base member is mounted on a closure member 10 of the kind described in Specification 1,068,955 which covers the bottom of the bracket.
