Abstract
Una planta (1) para el almacenamiento de energía comprende una carcasa (5) para el almacenamiento de un fluido de trabajo distinto del aire atmosférico, en fase gaseosa y en equilibrio de presión con la atmósfera; un tanque (9) para el almacenamiento de dicho fluido de trabajo en fase líquida o supercrítica con una temperatura cercana a la temperatura crítica; donde dicha temperatura crítica es cercana a la temperatura ambiente. La planta (1) está configurada para realizar una transformación termodinámica cíclica cerrada (TTC), primero en una dirección en una configuración de carga y luego en la dirección opuesta en una configuración de descarga, entre dicha carcasa (5) y dicho tanque (9); donde en la configuración de carga la planta (1) almacena calor y presión y en la configuración de descarga la planta genera energía. La planta (1) también está configurada para definir un circuito cerrado y realizar un ciclo termodinámico cerrado (CT) en el circuito cerrado con al menos una parte del fluido de trabajo, opcionalmente mientras la planta (1) se encuentra en la configuración de carga o en la configuración de descarga.
