Abstract

A metal heel plate for ski bindings, which may be secured to the ski surface to underlie the ski boat heel, has a pair of integral upstanding flanges between which the boot heel fits, each flange having an eye for attachment of a thong or safety strap and being connected to the metal plate by a curved connecting portion of internal radius at least 5 mm., each connecting portion being permanently deformable to permit bending of the flanges towards or away from one another to accommodate ski boots of differing heel size.
