Abstract
A relay having multiple contact springs has its armature mounted in a similar manner to the movable contact springs. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2 the coil 2, core 1 and yoke 5 are mounted by means of a yoke extension 51 on a contact member 8 and the armature 7 is mounted on a movable contact spring 10. The ends of the yoke 5 are " elliptically " bent as is the end 12 of the armature. Fig. 7 shows the electromagnet on a yoke support 23 secured in the contact stack which also included an armature carrying movable contact 27. In Fig. 8, not shown, contacts are mounted on both sides of the electromagnet.
