Abstract
In a modification of the cable described in Specifications 934,911 and 1,016,739, the interposed separating insulating layers are provided with a plurality of protuberances on at least one surface and a plurality of corresponding recesses on the opposite surface/surfaces such that the passage of gas or oil between the dielectric layers is facilitated. In addition to the materials listed in Specification 934,911, polysulphones may be used for the layers.
