Improvements introduced in the object of the main patent no. 344,187, requested on august 17, 1967, for: "a process for preparing a urethane composition", composition that takes the form of a flexible, densified polyurethane foam, characterized by: a) placing a polyurethane-forming reaction mixture in a reaction zone and allowing the mixture to rise, thereby forming a partially cured cellular product; b) applying a compression force to the cellular product, partially cured, after a period of time between approximately 0 and 10 minutes after finishing the rise, to c) reduce the volume of the partially cured cellular product to 2/3 1/10 approximately of its original volume; and d) suppressing the compressive force and finishing the curing of the compressed cellular product; with the proviso that: when the period of time elapsed from the end of the rise to the application of the compressive force, is between 0 and 2.5 minutes, approximately, the cellular product, partially cured, is maintained at a medium temperature comprised between about 7º and about 204ºc, during said period; when said period of time is comprised between 2.5 and 5 minutes, approximately, the cellular product, partially cured, is maintained at a temperature of the medium comprised between about 7º and about 93ºC during said period; 7 when said period of time is comprised between 5 and 10 minutes approximately, the cellular product, partially cured, is maintained at a temperature of the medium comprised between about 7º and about 43º c, during said period.
