Abstract
Imaging process using an imaging member comprising a supported layer of softenable material having a layer of particulate material therein or thereon, the softenable material and/or the particulate material comprising an electrophotosensitive material, comprises (i) forming an electrostatic image on the member, (ii) softening the softenable layer so that the particulate material migrates imagewise towards the support (as described in Specification 1,152, 365), and (iii) terminating the migration by uniformly exposing the layer, e.g. by using a flash exposure.
