Abstract

In an encapsulated motor compressor, for a small refrigerating machine, composing an electric motor positioned below a compressor and a vertical shaft 5 having a bore 20 to which is connected a centrifugal pump formed by a length of tubing 21 extending into a sump 27, a second such pump is provided by a further length of tubing 28 surrounding the first. The construction is similar to that described in Specification 1, 226, 311.
