Abstract

A refrigerant compression machine having a refrigerant circuit in which a gas phase refrigerant fluid is compressed by a compressor and is fed to the upper inlet of a condenser in which said refrigerant fluid is condensed and from the lower outlet of which said fluid liquid phase refrigerant is fed through a tube, preferably capillary, to the upper inlet of a cooler, which is part of an evaporator in which the same liquid phase refrigerant fluid is injected and vaporized, at least partially, to producing frigories, and from the outlet from which the liquid phase portion of the refrigerant fluid is collected in an evaporator collector while the gas phase portion of said refrigerant fluid is conducted through said collector and through a dryer of said evaporator by being sucked by said compressor to close the cooling cycle of the cooling fluid, characterized by the fact that it comprises, on the one hand, a defrosting pipe that connects the upper entrance of the condenser to the upper entrance of the evaporator cooler, and that is provided with a defrosting valve which is closed during operation of the compressor but opened when the latter is stopped, to allow gas refrigerant fluid to be fed to the evaporator cooler and to thereby defrost the outer walls of the latter, and, on the other hand, a return pipe that connects the evaporator collector to the evaporator.
