Abstract

An injection mould assembly comprises groups of plates movable relative to one another, one group supporting a mould part 2b and the other a mould part 2c each group includes at least a pair of adjacent circular plates such as 1, 2 which are centred relative each other by a metal ring 6 press fitted in an annular space formed by annular recesses 1a, 2a. The mould parts 2b, 2c are positioned within plates 2 and 12 respectively, and the latter bolted to a plate assembly 3, 4 and 11. Metal centring rings are located between each adjacent pair of plates. Each ring may have holes therearound, or a flange or an annular groove to receive a tool for its removal or adjustment. The mould assembly includes an article ejecting means 5 with pins 5a.
