Abstract

Aerosol compsn., for dispensing in the form of a fine spray or foam under the pressure of a propellant, contains a mixt. obtained by (a) making a mixt. of liposoluble component, contg. the active agent, mineral and/or vegetable oils, a polyethylene glycol stearate and a stearic acid, the last component being used in a relatively low proportion in order to produce a low viscosity component after melting, (b) melting the mixt., (c) pouring about one-half of the required water into the molten mixt., the water having a pH of ca. 6, and a temp. at ca. the m.p. of the mixt., (d) gently stirring the mixt. until it has cooled to the temp of the surroundings, (e) dissolving the water soluble components.
