Abstract
A composition comprises 50-15 wt. per cent asbestos containing #95% chrysotile fibre, and 50-85% wt. nylon, e.g. nylon 6 or 6/6. Also present may be 0À5-10% polyethylene which may be of low density, e.g. 0À910-0À939g./c.c., or of high density, e.g. 0À939-0À975 g./c.c. the latter may have carboxylic acid salt gps. The composition may contain e.g. 0À01-5À0% wt. of a pigment, e.g. cadmium red, an aluminium pigment, or carbon black beads.
