Abstract
A coaxial connector for a high frequency transmission line has contacts adapted to compensate for impedance variations due to tolerances in the connector. In Fig. 5 the increase in impedance due to the gap S is compensated by the decrease in impedance produced by the increase in diameter of the front resilient fingers 50 of inner contact 44. Similarly, in Fig. 8 the compensation for an increased impedance is effected by the decrease in diameter of the resilient portions 74 of outer contact 70.
