Improvements made to the object of main patent no. 350.109, issued October 26, 1968, for: "An apparatus for simultaneously emphasizing a plurality of electrical connectors on the ends of juxtaposed conductive wires," the connectors having formed part of a strip of electrical connectors arranged side by side in strip form, and the apparatus comprising juxtaposed upsetting anvils towards which the connector strip is arranged to advance along a feed or transport path, juxtaposed upsetting stamps, in cooperation with the anvils, to upset the connectors by compression fixing them to the conductive wires or cables, a cutting device arranged to section a plurality of the connectors simultaneously, separating them from the connector strip in a position located upstream of the anvils, and a feeding means arranged to make simultaneously advance the cut connectors to the anvils until each cut connector is positioned into one of the anvils, characterized in that the feeding means comprise two pairs of connector gripping jaws, jointly movable between a first position in which each pair of jaws grips one of the connectors in the position in which the connector was cut and separated from the strip of connectors by the cutting device or disconnector and a second position in which a socket for each of the connectors cut and gripped by the jaws is arranged in one of the anvils, the pairs of jaws moving relative to each other as they move from their first to their second positions, to accommodate the difference between the mutual separation distance of the connectors in the longitudinal direction of the connector strip and the distance existing between juxtaposed anvils.
