Abstract

Jaula-criadero de ostras, caracterizada por que a lo largo de la cara interna de una pareja de listones equidistantes y fijados por sus extremos en cada borde de dos superficies rectangulares opuestas, van ajustadas unas plataformas de menor tamaño y también equidistantes, que llevan practicado un orificio central donde se deposita la cría de ostra para su desarrollo y engorde. Las superficies de los extremos tienen un taladro en el centro para alojar la punta de un cordel, que mediante un nudo o tope queda sujeto en la superficie, digo en la periferia del borde de dicho taladro, uniendo así la superficie inferior de una jaula con la misma pieza superior de la inmediata, a fin de constituir un tren o sistema de jaulas, cuya primera unidad va colgada en el bastidor correspondiente de una armazón de madera sostenida por un artefacto flotante y de la que dependerá otras series análogas en número variable.
