Abstract

A process for producing a dyed and multi-colored wool-containing acrylic textile product characterized by dyeing a textile product containing an acrylic fiber consisting of a polymer or acrylonitrile composition prepared to contain, as polymerized, an unsaturated basic monomer with a value pKb at 25ºC of less than 8.0, and wool, in a staining bath of a pH of 5 to 9, using a direct dye to dye said portion of acrylic fiber, then treating said textile product with a selected anionic active agent of essentially aromatic polycondensates; anionics containing sulfonic acid groups, and then dyeing said portion of wool, in a different color, in a dyeing bath under acidic conditions, using an acid dye.
