Abstract
Procedure for obtaining cyclopentadiene, by practically quantitative dissociation of dicyclopentadiene, which is obtained as a concentrate after heat treatment of a fraction of a benzol from pyrolysis and further enrichment by fractional distillation, and which contains dimers of isoprene and codimers of cyclopentadiene, isoprene and thermally stable piperylene, in liquid phase at normal or light overpressure and at temperatures between about 170º and about 250ºC, characterized in that for the thermally stable cyclopentadiene, isoprene and piperylene dimers, which are obtained as glue product in dissociation, a concentration of 10 to 70% is maintained.
