Un tapón perfeccionado, caracterizado esencialmente por el hecho de que a tapones de corcho de cualquier clase o tipo se le dota de una protección a base de un recubrimiento de resina artificial o material plástico que afecta a la zona frontal o base del mismo, o bien abarca también los lados, en su totalidad o en parte, o recubre totalmente el tapón, resultando de ello la parte extrema, completamente protegida y, en su caso, también la parte lateral o total, a los fines de obtención de un tapón elástico, aislante de la humedad e insípido, muy apto para la conservación de líquidos en general.
