Abstract

Mecanismo de dirección de cremallera y piñón auxiliado por fuerza motriz para vehículos a motor, cuyo mecanismo comprende un alojamiento, un piñón giratoriamente montado en el alojamiento y adaptado para su conexión al control de dirección de un vehículo a motor para su rotación por el mismo, una cremallera dentada en acoplamiento con el piñón y adaptada para su conexión a las ruedas directrices de un vehículo a motor para dirigirlas, y un resorte que impulsa a la cremallera dentada a su acoplamiento con el piñón, caracterizado porque la cremallera dentada forma parte de un conjunto de cremallera que incluye los pistones, el citado conjunto de cremallera puede girar alrededor del eje de los pistones para acoplar los dientes de la cremallera a los dientes del piñón y la cremallera dentada puede girar alrededor de un eje paralelo al de los pistones para alinear los dientes de la cremallera con los dientes del piñón.
