Abstract
Un método de seleccionar y visualizar una imagen de video a partir de una señal de video compuesta que comprende una pluralidad de n imágenes de video separadas que tienen partes de luminancia y de crominancia en forma de una pluralidad de líneas que incluyen cada enésima línea solamente de cada una de dichas imágnes, comenzando a partir de una línea preseleccionada diferente para cada una de dicha pluralidad de imágenes, comprendiendo dicho método las operaciones de seleccionar cada enésima línea de dicha pluralidad de líneas comenzando en una línea preseleccionada de modo que estas líneas sean seleccionadas de la imagen de video seleccionada, retardar por separado dichas partes de luminancia y de crominancia de dichas líneas seleccionadas en sustancialmente n-1 periodos de tiempo de línea siendo retardada dicha parte de luminancia por un medio que tiene una anchura de banda menor que la anchura de banda de dicha parte de luminancia; combinar solamente dichas líneas seleccionadas que estánretardadas con las que están sin retardar, y presentar dichas líneas seleccionadas y combinadas de modo que una línea no retardada vaya a seguida por una línea retardada correspondiente.
