Abstract
Procedure for recovering cobalt in the form of cobaltcarbonyl hydride from the carboxylic aqueous solution obtained in the decobaltization of oxoalcohols, preferably after using higher olefins, by treating this solution with carbon monoxide and hydrogen at high pressure and elevated temperature, in the presence of an organic solvent, characterized in that the treatment of the aqueous carboxylic solution is carried out in the presence of butane, in a ratio between butanol and the solution of 1: 2 to 1. At temperatures from 140ºC to 200ºC and pressures 100 to 300 atmospheres, in a homogeneous phase, after which the solution is cooled to 0ºC to 110ºC, separating the formed butanolic phase, which contains the cobaltocarbonyl hydride, from the aqueous phase formed (Machine-translation by Google Translate, not legally binding)
