Improvements in hydrostatic pipeline testing apparatuses, characterized in that each apparatus is provided with an elongated mandrel adapted to be axially coupled inside a pipeline to be tested; an end plate fixed at one end of said mandrel; resilient sealing means on the inside diameter of said pipe to be tested, on said fixed end plate, coupling one end of said pipe to be tested to a sealing part; support means for said mandrel adjacent said fixed end plate; movable jack means that normally support the other end of said mandrel when it is not used; roller means at said other end of the mandrel, in contact with the interior of a pipe to be tested, to support said other end of said mandrel when it is used; moving carriage means below and parallel to the axis of the mandrel that supports a pipe to be tested; a movable end plate detachably attached to said other end of the mandrel, resting against the other end of said pipe to be tested, resilient sealing means on the movable end plate, surrounding the inside diameter of said pipe and sealingly coupling the pipe to be tested to said end plate; and fluid supply means in communication with the area between the mandrel and the pipe to be tested, which supplies fluid under pressure to said area.
