Abstract

An artificial tooth implant device in which there is provided an anchoring part and a post structure adapted to have an artificial tooth or tooth structure secured thereto, with the device being intended for permanent retention in an artificial recess to be formed in the front face or in the rear face of a patient's jawbone, and the device being engageable in said recess in a generally transverse direction of said jawbone with said post structure extending beyond the crest of the jawbone.
