UNO DE LOS ELEMENTOS, LA VALVULA PROPIAMENTE DICHA, ESTA CONSTITUIDA POR UN CONJUNTO CILINDRICO, QUE EN UNO DE SUS EXTREMOS DISPONE DE UNA ROSCA PARA SU UNION A LA TUBERIA DE AGUA. EN EL OTRO EXTREMO LLEVA UNA CABEZA DESMONTABLE QUE PRESENTA UNA ABERTURA CIRCULAR. ESTA ABERTURA SE OBTURA POR MEDIO DE UNA CLAPETA, QUE MANTIENE OBTURADO EL ORIFICIO POR LA ACCION DE UN MUELLE. EL OTRO ELEMENTO DE LA VALVULA ES LA PIEZA DENOMINADA BAYONETA, CONSTITUDA POR UN CUERPO DE BAYONETA, UN EMPUJADOR Y UNA JUNTA BOVEDA ESPECIAL. EL CUERPO LLEVA UN DISPOSITIVO DE FORMA DE BAYONETA, QUE POR MEDIO DE UN GIRO QUE DA SOLIDAMENTE UNIDO A LA VALVULA. ESTE MOVIMIENTO SE TRASLADA EL EMPUJADOR, SITUADO EN EL INTERIOR DEL CUERPO, QUE ACTUA SOBRE LA CLAPETA Y PERMITE LA SALIDA DEL AGUA. LA JUNTA BOVEDA ESPECIAL ASEGURA EL CIERRE HIDRAULICO ENTRE LA VALVULA Y LA BAYONETA. EN SU PARTE SUPERIOR LA BAYONETA DISPONE DE UNA ROSCAPARA REALIZAR SU UNION AL ASPERSOR.
