Abstract
A method of forming on the ground surface a support column, such as a pile, of a filling material which can be introduced in a fluid condition into a column cavity to form said support column and which solidifies after curing, which it includes the operations of: a) placing a filling hopper and an excavating tip in relation to vertically and contiguously aligned along a vertical axis, in a selected place on the surface of the ground where a supporting column is to be formed; b) placing a vertically elongated intermediate pusher, in detachable application with the excavating tip, the pusher extending upwardly through the filling hopper, along said vertical axis; c) filling the hopper with a suitable amount of filler material to form the support column; d) forming a cavity of selected size and depth on the surface of the land by transmitting a driving force by means of said pusher extending through the filling hopper to the digging tip, to introduce it into the ground; e) selectively introducing said filling material into said cavity from said filling hopper by gravity; and f) removing said pusher from said filler material within the cavity; g) said pusher having the shape of an axially elongated tube in which the wall of the tube has a plurality of radial openings formed therein which allow said filling material to be transferred between places located outside said pusher and places situated inside said tube.
