Improvements introduced in the object of the main patent No. 412,585 applied for on March 13, 1973 by: "A process for the preparation of derivatives of (alkoxy-4-alcohol-4-piperidino-alcoholic) -l0-phenothiazines" according to which for the preparation of {[(decanoyloxy-2-ethoxy) -4-methyl-4-piperidino] -3-propyl} -10-trifluoromethyl-2-phenothiazine, of {[([methyl-2-heptanoyloxy] -2 -ethoxy) -4-methyl-4-piperidino] -3-propyl} -10-trifluoromethyl-2-phenothiazine, and of {[(hexadecanoyloxy-2-ethoxy) -4-methyl-4-piperidino] -3- propyl} -10-trifluoromethyl-2-phenothiazine, as well as its salts, such improvements include reacting (chloro-3-propyl) -10-trifluoromethyl-2-phenothiazine with (methyl-4-piperidyl-4) - oxy-2-ethanol to obtain {[(hydroxy-2-ethoxy) -4-methyl-4-piperidino] -3-propyl} -10-trifluoromethyl-2-phenothiazine which is reacted with an acid chloride of the formula Cl-CO-R3 in which -CO-R3 represents a decanoyl, methyl-2-heptanoyl or hexadecanoyl radical and, if desired, is reacted, on the obtained product, a mineral or organic acid to form its salt.
