Abstract
Process for vulcanizing rubber mixtures based on at least one rubber, filler in quantities of 10 to 250 parts by weight, plasticizer in quantities of 0 to 200 parts by weight, protective agent against aging in quantities of 0 to 10 parts by weight, a vulcanization system in amounts from 0.1 to 25 parts by weight, stearic acid in amounts from 0 to 10 parts by weight, zinc oxide in amounts from 0 to 10 parts by weight and optionally other auxiliary agents for rubber itself known as thermal stabilizers, light shielding agents, ozone stabilizers, blowing agents, colorants, pigments, waxes, organic acids and activators, and based on at least one sulfur-containing organosilane, by heating of the rubber mixture formed at 100 to 250ºC in a time between one minute and three hours that depends on the vulcanization temperature, characterized in that it is incorporated into the rubber mixture, par to improve the manufacturing capacity and the manufacturing safety of rubber mixtures and to reinforce vulcanizates, at least one organosilane of the general formula I Z-Alk-Sn-Alk-Z where Z represents the groupings **(See formula)** where R1 is an alcohol group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or the phenyl radical and R2 is an alkoxy group with 1 to 8, preferably 1 to 4, carbon atoms, a cycloalkoxy group with 5 to 8 carbon atoms, or a straight or branched chain alcohol-mercapto group with 1 to 8 carbon atoms, all symbols R1 and R2 being able to have the same or different meaning, Alk means a divalent, possibly unsaturated, straight or branched chain hydrocarbon, possibly cyclic, with 1 to 18, especially with 1 to 6, and preferably with 2 or 3, carbon atoms, and n represents a number from 2.0 to 6.0, preferably from 2.0 to 4.0, in amounts 0.1 to 50 parts by weight, all indicated parts by weight being referred to 100 parts by weight of the rubber, and as filler material at least one silicone filler material, and because the mentioned components are uniformly distributed in said mixture of rubber.
