Aparato para preparar trozos cortados a partir de un producto alimenticio, caracterizado por medios para soportar y hacer avanzar dicho producto alimenticio, medios de detección para determinar cuando está avanzado dicho producto alimenticio, medios para producir una sucesión se señales cuando dichos medios de detección determinan que dicho producto alimenticio está avanzado, medios para contar la sucesión se señales hasta que se alcancen valores de cómputo acumulados, predeterminados, por dichos medios contadores, medios para detener el movimiento de dichos medios de avance cada vez que se alcanza uno de dichos valores predeterminados, y medios para cortar un trozo de dicho producto alimenticio al ser alcanzado cada uno de dichos valores predeterminados por dichos medios contadores y ser detenido el avance de dicho producto alimenticio
