Abstract
Procedure for obtaining tri-substituted triazines of general formula: ** (See formula) ** where n is chosen between 1 and 2; X is halogen; R1 is chosen from hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, cyanoalkyl, aralkyl, and cycloalkyl; R2 is chosen from alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl and Ar, the variable Ar being chosen from phenyl, diphenyl, naphthyl and phenentrile, both substituted and unsubstituted, the substituents being chosen over Ar substituted by an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical, aryl hydrocarbon, endoaliphatic hydrocarbon and halogen; with the proviso that at least one of the residues R1 is halogen; characterized by comprising reacting a hypohalite with a triazine of the formula: ** (See formula) ** where n and X are defined as above, R5 is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl and cycloalkyl and R6 is selected from alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl and Ar, this variable being defined as above.
