ESTE SE SITUA EN EL INTERIOR DE UN DEPOSITO, FORMADO POR DOS RECIPIENTES (9) Y (11) SEPARADOS POR UN AISLANTE (10). EN DICHO DEPOSITO SE INTRODUCE AGUA FRIA A TRAVES DE UN CONDUCTO (15). EL AGUA SE CALIENTA POR CONTACTO CON EL INTERCAMBIADOR (8) Y SE EXTRAE POR UN CONDUCTO (16), PARA SU UTILIZACION. SE DISPONE UNA VALVULA (13) QUE PERMITE LA REPOSICION DEL FLUIDO TERMICO. UNA VARIANTE CONSISTE EN CALENTAR DIRECTAMENTE EL AGUA SIN AGENTE INTERMEDIO. PARA ESTO SE ALOJA EN LA CAJA (3) DEL PANEL, UN SERPENTIN RECORRIDO POR AGUA, QUE FORMA CON EL DEPOSITO UN CIRCUITO CERRADO.
