Abstract

Un procedimiento de tratamiento anti-adherente de utensilios de cocina con una superficie vítrea y que pueden servir para la cocción de alimentos, comprendiendo la superficie en contacto con los alimentos un revestimiento al cual no se adhieren, siendo prácticamente inalterable bajo la influencia de agentes químicos y mecánicos a los cuales se exponen los mencionados utensilios, caracterizado el procedimiento porque consiste en hacer pasar al utensilio por las operaciones sucesivas siguientes: a) se preparan utensilios de cocción con, por lo menos, la cara interior vidriosa, que puedan exponerse al fuego, b) se calientan estos utensilios a una temperatura lo suficientemente elevada al menos para hacer que la superficie que se va a revestir sea lo suficientemente reactiva a los productos que se pulverizan o evaporan sobre ella y no tan elevada como para provocar la descomposición del producto que se va a depositar antes de su contacto con la superficie que se va a tratar; c) exponer la superficie vidriosa así calentada a un chorro o a vapores de un compuesto, cuyas gotitas se descomponen al contacto con la superficie calentada, dejando fijado sobre ella un depósito de óxido; d) someter al utensilio revestido con una capa de óxido a un tratamiento de valor superior al primero durante aproximadamente 1 hora para mejorar la unión entre el soporte e vidrio y la capa de óxido, sin que la temperatura alcance un punto en el cual se corra el riesgo de deformar el utensilio.
